Savannah Hannon (a.k.a. Savvy) is an art handler, painter, fix-it all, mom extraordinaire! Ever since Savvy can remember she has been fixing things. From leaky faucets at age 11, building sets for theater productions at 17 to adjusting crooked artwork whenever she walks into a buisness!! Savannah enjoys every type of project out there.
In fact, while most folks enjoy watching reality tv or sports, Savvy's preference is 'This Old House'. She even commentates the men on the show's actions as if they were a referee making a bad call! "That's not what that tool is called Tommy!" she'll yell from the other room. Savvy's bedtime reading is the 'Family Handyman'.
Over the years Savvy has always questioned why there are no women in these publications. Does it have to be "handyman"? Why is the only woman portrayed on a fix-it show confused and covered in paint?! Don't women know how to properly swing a hammer? From these observations, Savvy began to construct her female focused handiwork concept. Women should feel comfortable with a contractor entering their home and providing fair, honest, clean and competent work.
Savvy Fix-It is a lifelong dream that has become a reality. We cannot thank you enough for helping make it come true.
